World Trade Center Heath Program - Applications for Enrollment

The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund relies on information from the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) certifying that your conditions are the result of WTC Exposure. It is essential that you are accepted as a member of the WTCHP and that they certify your conditions for treatment.

The WTCHP cannot accept you without evidence that you were exposed. This evidence can include a "Notice of Participation" filed with the New York City Police Pension Fund (NYCPPF), the New York City Employees Retirement System (NYCERS), or the New York State Workers Compensation Board. This evidence can also include witness statements that detail the nature and duration of your exposure.

If you receive a notice from the WTCHP indicating that your application for enrollment is not complete, it is likely because your enrollment specialist either did not receive your proof of exposure, or found the proof submitted was not sufficient.

The WTCHP does not include our office on any communications or notices sent to you. Accordingly, please advise our office if you receive any correspondence from the World Trade Center Health Program.

If several weeks pass and you have not received any response after filing an application with the WTCHP, you should contact them directly at (88) 982-4748, and inquire as to the status of your application.

The WTCHP protects your information as a patient, and will not release or discuss your information with our office.

If you have any questions, please contact our office at (212) 766-5800, or email me (dan@ucjlaw.com), or my paralegal Kate (kate@ucjlaw.com) directly.
