Emily represents clients claiming benefits from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund and the Social Security Administration. Prior to joining Ungaro Cifuni & Jaffe, Emily started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office where she handled hundreds of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious violent felonies. She coordinated complex criminal investigations, indicted many cases in the Grand Jury, and conducted various court proceedings. Emily then went on to be a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office where she prosecuted a variety of cases, including, human trafficking, child exploitation, cryptocurrency, identity theft, extortion, and criminal computer activity. She is admitted to the state bars of New York, New Jersey, and Maryland. Emily graduated from New York Law School and received her undergraduate degree from Stevenson University where she majored in Criminal Justice and was a four-year collegiate athlete on the women’s soccer team.
