Thank you for helping me receive Social Security Disability Benefits. Because the New York State Police is such a unique organization, I never thought I would qualify for Social Security Disability Benefits. Our sick leave, workers compensation and other benefits are so different than those of any other agency, that few people understand them, and few of us are aware of what is available to us.

Because you opened my eyes and assisted me with filing, I recently received a substantial increase in my Social Security benefits. I wish I had met and listened to you sooner, since that would have meant more of an increase, but without you I would not have gotten anything. Congratulations on another year of accomplishment for the CEA.
