I just wanted to take a moment and comment on the outstanding services I received from Nick Cifuni/Retirement Disability Attorney for the LBA. When I first went for a consultation with Nick I remember being unsure if filing a line of duty disability retirement application would be even worth my while. After consultation with him and under his guidance and direction I decided to go forward.
Nick was insightful and available every step of the way and always took the appropriate time to answer my questions and explain exactly what was going on and the hurdles we were facing in each step. My case was far from a 'slam dunk' and I truly believe I would have never been awarded the LOD disability benefit without his involvement.
